Tourism Committee Meeting

September 10, 2014

 

Present:    Christine Ermenc, Becca Mockalis, Ann Parkhurst, Paula Pierce,  Phyllis Stargardter

 

 

1. Walking Tour:  As per Ann-Applied for grant-Did not get.

She will check if she still has a copy.

Is this a self-guided tour or an audio tour, or both?

 

2. C.R.Tourism:   As per Becca: HYATT had them for a tour of Windsor

It was great.  There is interest.

November 18 Tourism Show (Greater New Jersey Motorcoach Association)

Possibly produce a flyer of things to do in Windsor

-General info (restaurants, lodging, shopping, attractions, historic.)

3. Passport

Revisit printing a smaller size book (as per participant comments.)

Get them out to the Tourism District

 

4. New Subscribers

Tourism Newsletter

Can we automatically sign-up new members (& existing)?

Can we do a press release?

Can we send a flyer through the schools?

Can we put a blurb in the town magazine "There's A Lot to Do in Windsor”
