Silk'n Sounds, the Greater New Haven’s premier women's a cappella chorus, is a chapter of Harmony, Inc., an international organization of female a cappella singers specializing in the barbershop harmony style. Silk’n Sounds provides high quality a cappella performances for a wide range of audiences, participates in regional and international barbershop competitions, and partners with charitable organizations working to improve life in local communities. Their repertoire has broadened with playful jazz, accented by cool chord progression and sweet rhythms. Silk’n Sounds will perform at the Main Library from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
