| | | This exhibition, running from October 30 through December 4, is a celebration of the artistic legacy of Dan J. Ferraina, (Dec 4, 1935 – Nov 25, 2020) a life-long Windsor resident & community benefactor.
Mr. Ferraina was a charismatic man with a three-dimensional mind, always searching for a new challenge. Mathematically inclined, he was obsessed with numbers that in later years, shaped his artistic tendencies and spilled onto paper as intricate patterns and forms. Dan also built mind-boggling creations out of one unbroken piece of cardboard. He found artistic expression was critical in his life, and while exploring color, composition & concept in his unique style, he created work that truly speaks from his heart and soul.
In keeping with Mr. Ferraina’s philanthropic nature, his family will donate 100% of the proceeds from all sales of works in this exhibition to the Windsor Art Center.
This exhibition is made possible with the support of Hartford Hospital, Clearwood Building, Pelton Graphics, University of Hartford, PrintHub, and other businesses & individuals from our community.
