Carol Sing & Torchlight Parade
Please join us for an evening of holiday festivities on Saturday, December 8th At 6:00 PM join us for an Old Fashioned Carol Sing on the Town Hall Portico. Nekita Waller, State Troubadour and Windsor gal, will lead the singing! Song books will be available so you can sing along! At 6:30 PM join in the fun at our Torchlight Parade as fire trucks parade in their holiday decorations. The parade will begin on Remington Road and will proceed through downtown Windsor. Free!

The Windsor Art Center celebrates the return of Judy Handler and Mark Levesque for their Joy to the World concert on Friday, December 7 at 8:00 PM. This concert features holiday music for classical guitar and mandolin. Enchanting instrumental renditions of traditional and contemporary holiday music. Enjoy a variety of lively music and lyrical melodies from many countries including the U.S., England, Wales, France, Italy, Jewish traditions, Spain and Puerto Rico.

Suggested donation: $15.00

Parking is free and accessible; please park in the large lot across from Windsor Station Apartments.

December 2nd – 8th is National Influenza Vaccination Week and the Windsor Health Department will be participating in the Connecticut Department of Public Health 2018 Influenza Vaccination Campaign by offering a vaccination clinic to the public on Saturday December 8th at the Windsor Town Hall, 275 Broad Street, from 9am – 12:30pm for anyone ages 5 years and up. Home Alone Safety Class
Home Alone Safety Class is offered by the Windsor Youth Services for all boys and girls ages 8 to 13 years old who are left home alone. This program takes place at 330 Windsor Avenue Community Center from 10:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, December 8th. The course will cover all the safety concerns parents have when their children are by themselves. Students will learn to be more aware of the potential dangers that they could face when left home alone.
