The Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters host an annual Candidates Night before on Wednesday, October 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Windsor Town Hall. Take the opportunity to submit your questions in advance and meet with candidates that night who are running for public office. Ask them the tough questions. Open to all businesses and the public. Flashlight maze at Brown's Harvest on two weekends Oct 19- 20 and Oct 26 - 27. Admission is $10.

Windsor Art Center Leaf Bowl Class
Registration is now open for a class given by artist Ceil Rossi, offering instructions on how to make a decorated gourd. The class will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10:30 to 3:30, at the Windsor Art Center Studios, 35 Central Street, Windsor. Farmers’ Market
The First Town Downtown 2018 Farmers’ Market will begin its 10th season on Thursday, June 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. The Farmers' Market will run every Thursday through October 18th. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Beginning Thursday, September 6th through October 18th join Blue Moon Yoga for “Fall Yoga in the Park” each Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM. Learn breathing techniques, yoga postures and experience essential oils. You will leave relaxed and energized. Bring a mat and blanket and come experience open flow yoga for all levels. 2nd Great Windsor History Hunt!
On Saturday, October 20, 2018 from noon to 4 PM, grab friends and family and head to Windsor Historical Society for our Great Windsor History Hunt!  Pick up your book of clues at the Society, your passport to discovering a fascinating array of historic sites in Connecticut’s oldest town and a little history along the way. Then head out in your car to start looking. Once you have found each site, snap a picture of your group onsite with your cell phone. When finished, return to the Society to have photos checked. If you found all the sites, you’ll be placed in a drawing for some neat prizes!

Community members interested in learning more about what The Music School at Sound Crossing has to offer are invited to come learn about our current music programs and register for lessons! Observe Suzuki Piano and Violin Group Classes. Try out instruments at our Musical Petting Zoo. Refreshments and a children's craft will also be offered. Enroll for private lessons the day of the Fall Festival and receive $50 off enrollment fees!

Socktober - winter sock collection
Windsor C.A.R.E.S. SOCKTOBER- The summer has ended and the winter months will be upon us before we know it. The winter months are extremely difficult for those who are homeless and need to stay warm. C.A.R.E.S. will be collecting NEW winter socks throughout the month of October to be distributed this holiday season to those in need.

NEW socks can be dropped off at the Social Services office at the LP Wilson Community Center.
