Building on the success of our First Thursday FREE Genealogy Support Group sessions, Windsor Historical Society has engaged genealogist Jennifer Zinck for two programs: The first session DNA & Your Family Tree happens Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 7 p.m. and the second, Exploring Your AncestryDNA Results will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 7 p.m. The cost for each of these sessions is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for Windsor Historical Society members. The First Town Downtown 2018 Farmers’ Market will begin its 10th season on Thursday, June 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. The Farmers' Market will run every Thursday through October 18th. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Join us on the mezzanine at the Windsor Public Library for Jan’s Sewing Hour from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Have a machine and don’t know how to get started with it? Each month during this hour, Jan, a master sewer formerly of Jan’s Sewing Room, will start by walking you through the basics (the library also has a standard machine to learn with). She will then dedicate the second half of the hour to troubleshooting your specific needs and questions.
