Camp Out Under the Stars at NWP
On July 21st, spend the night at Northwest Park’s "Camp out under the Stars" beginning at 4:00 PM on Saturday through 9:00 AM on Sunday at the Northwest Park “Great Meadow.” Join us for guided activities during the day and night, enjoy a picnic style dinner, with the traditional roasting of marshmallows and a light breakfast. Don’t have a tent? No problem. Tents are available on a first come, first served basis. $20.00 Windsor resident, $25.00 non-resident, Family (of 4) $60.00 Windsor residents, $70.00 non-residents. Christmas in July
To kick off this event we are reaching out to you in hopes of having you donate a (fake/real or manufactured) Christmas tree that will be decorated with the theme “Christmas in July”. Each tree that you enter will have your name/business/organization on a sign in front of the tree so everyone will know who did such awesome work. We are asking that each tree space be purchased for $25 so that we can use the money we raise to create a scholarship for a graduating Senior at Windsor High School who has a passion for the Culinary Arts.

Farmers’ Market
The First Town Downtown 2018 Farmers’ Market will begin its 10th season on Thursday, June 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. The Farmers' Market will run every Thursday through October 18th. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Yoga on the Green
Stretch and strengthen in this all-level yoga class, no experience required. Bring your mat if you have one and/or a towel and meet on the Windsor Town Green at 5:30 pm for an hour-long free community yoga class on August 2nd (cancelled due to rain) and August 23rd.

You'll be using your breath to connect to movement and yoga to connect your body and mind. Release any stress or tension that may have accumulated throughout the day and flow into your evening feeling refreshed and energized.

Presented by Dr. Roberta Garceau, Certified Yoga Instructor.

Family Campfire Night at NWP
Northwest Park invites you and your family to come and enjoy “Family Campfire Night” on Tuesday, July 24th from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM. We will explore astronomy through storytelling, star hopping and the traditional roasting of marshmallows, all while you’re gathered around a glowing campfire. Please bring a blanket for sitting. The Windsor Public Library is happy to host an Intro to Improv Workshop with Sea Tea Improv from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Performers from Hartford’s professional comedy company will be here to teach the basics of doing improv. Before or after the workshop, you can also reserve the Sea Tea Improv Events Pass for BOGO admission to a show in Hartford. Open to teens and adults. Free. Registration is required.
