Compete for the Shad Derby Trivia Trophy on April 12 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Windsor Historical Society with a chance to win a $50 gift card to Union Street Tavern and year long bragging rights! Advance registration is required. Space is limited, so register early!

Funds raised will benefit the Windsor Historical Society and the Shad Fest Bureau.

Firehouse Pancake Breakfast
Firefighters will hold their annual “Fisherman’s Breakfast” at the Hayden Station Fire Company firehouse on Saturday, April 14. While the event traditionally coincides with the opening of the Shad fishing season, it is open to everyone. The breakfast takes place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
You don’t have to be a fisherman to enjoy the food and the company. Just show up, make an $8 donation, and dig in. (Advance tickets are only $7.)

The breakfast will be buffet-style and all-you-can-eat. Pancakes and scrambled eggs with sausage and home fries are the main attractions. Coffee, juice, and milk

The Chosen Generation Contemporary Choir of Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Windsor is hosting a “Night of Music” event on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. The event will be held at at Archer Memorial AME Zion Church, 320 Hayden Station Road, Windsor, CT. The night will be filled with gospel, contemporary, and other genres of Christian music from local choirs and groups. Please join us as we sing praises and fellowship together. Join us on Saturday April 21 for the Windsor Palette and Brush Club’s Art Bus Trip to Boston Museum of Fine Art.
We will be leaving Windsor from the commuter lot off I-91, exit 38 at 8:30 am returning to same at 5:00 pm.
Price $70 per person. Price includes a museum ticket and bus transportation to and from Boston from Windsor. Bus will leave Boston at 3:00 pm to return home.
