Community Garden Rentals at NWP
Beginning Monday, March 26th Community Garden plots are available at Northwest Park. These plots are 36’ x 36’, are pre-harrowed and marked for those wishing to use their “green thumb.” The cost is $35.00 for Windsor residents, $45.00 non-residents. There is a nearby water source, however, gardeners need to bring their own hose and tools. Must come to the Nature Center office to register for the season. The Blue Dragonfly will be hosting a painting party, limited seating so don't wait. Your masterpiece will be painted on a 16 x 20 canvas, step by step instructions by Irene Hilbert on March 24th @ 1:00pm (sharp) at The Blue Dragonfly (next to Nat’s barbecue). Wake up and head to Northwest Park this morning from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM for the annual Friends of Northwest Park Pancake Breakfast! Bring an appetite for a full breakfast of pancake and sausage smothered in 100% pure maple syrup made right her at Windsor's own Northwest Park. Refreshment choices include orange juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12 years of age. Children under 3 are free.
