Impressionism with a Woman's Touch
Joining us via Zoom from New Jersey from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, the Main Library welcomes Mike Norris, PhD, to tell us about Berthe Morisot with his lecture Impressionism with a Woman’s Touch. This talk explores the French Impressionist whose art often focused on modern young women and children—Berthe Marie Pauline Morisot (1841-1895), who captured her world in a vibrant, changing style. Local museums, such as the Newark Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will help tell her story in art. Have an art project you need materials and/or advice for? Stop into the studio classroom during open hours to use the space and materials for your personal project, and receive guidance from local artist Michelle Hawran (if you wish!)

You MUST sign up at least a day in advance to ensure no more than 4 students will be in the classroom at one time. Each student will have their own table and sanitized materials, and masks are required. If you are feeling sick, please to do not attend.

Second Annual Clothing Drive
The Connecticut Cat Connection will be kicking off it’s second annual clothing donation drive this Saturday, April 23rd, and will run every week through June 18th. C.C.C. works in partnership with Saver’s Thrift stores’ FUNDrive Program,which recompenses the Cat Connection monetarily, for all

The shad always return to Windsor Historical Society! No bones about it – it’s time for some shad-themed fun! Children pre-K to grade 5 will enjoy fin-tastic outdoor activities including fishing for prizes, photo-ops with Queen Roe-Ena, shad painting, shad cooking demonstration, and more! Activities take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 15 at Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Avenue, Windsor. (Rain date: Sunday, May 15)

Photos will be posted to the town's Facebook page where visitors to the page will have the opportunity to vote and choose Windsor's #1 dog and #1 puppy.

Kimberly Hall North hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group for anyone taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia or if you would like to learn more about the disease. The group is open to both members of the community or those who have loved ones at Kimberly Hall.

Kate Bartelmo, is the support group leader she is a MSW, Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been running a support group for over 10 years. The group is affiliated with The Alzheimer's Association.
