Night at the Museum
On this one special night of the year you’re invited to take a tour of the Nature Center after dark as you meet costumed creatures that call Northwest Park home. Join us for this unique educational & theatrical walk-through as these nocturnal creatures share their stories with you. It won’t be spooky or scary, so bring the family for a night of nature and fun! (Ages 5+) Participants will take home a packet with additional learning activities and mini pumpkin for decomposition experiment. Face masks are required to be worn by all participants throughout the duration of the program.

Night of 1001 Pumpkins
Join us from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the LP Wilson Community Center tennis court area. There will be crafts for pumpkin decorating, music, pumpkin patch (1 pumpkin per family), maze, food and lots of fun decorations for all ages.

Don’t miss out on this great event! There will be goody bags handed out with treats inside for all children. This event is entirely outdoors and free to attend.

Newgate Farms Offering Winter Share CSA
Newgate Farms is offering their Winter Share CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program now. The program will run from November 6 thru December 21. Pickups will be scheduled every other week, including the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The program is flexible, allowing anywhere from one to four pickups. Please see our website for more specific information and pricing. Be sure to consider saving $20 by selecting all four shares! Chamber members receive an additional jar of salsa. Just write "chamber" at the top of your application.

11th Annual Food Drive at Many Rivers

11th Annual Food Drive at Many Rivers
Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is excited to announce their 11th annual Food Drive to support the Bloomfield and Windsor Food Banks. Many Rivers will collect non-perishable food items and toiletries from October 11 to October 24.

Our local food banks are in great need of donations because of the pandemic. More people than ever are in need of food, and food banks have been receiving fewer donations. According to estimates from Feeding America, 428,800 people are facing hunger in Connecticut, and of them 109,480 are children.
