UniteCT Mobile Bus in Windsor
The UniteCT Mobil bus is coming to Windsor from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11th at the Hopewell Baptist Church located at 280 Windsor Avenue. UniteCT is a rental and utility assistance program supporting residents negatively impacted by COVID-19. The mobile unit provides computer terminals and volunteers are available to assist with applications. Members of our social services team will also be on site to assist. To schedule an appointment go to www.signupgenius.com/go/unitect. Walk-ins will be accepted, but not prioritized.

The First Town Downtown Farmers Market will be open from 3:00 – 6:30 PM each Thursday starting June 24 through October 21, 2021 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center.

This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Kimberly Hall North hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group for anyone taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia or if you would like to learn more about the disease. The group is open to both members of the community or those who have loved ones at Kimberly Hall.

Kate Bartelmo, is the support group leader she is a MSW, Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been running a support group for over 10 years. The group is affiliated with The Alzheimer's Association.

In the month of August, the town’s Health Department will be conducting at least 6 vaccination clinics. Walk-up clinics are being held on:
-Friday, August 13th from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Deerfield Park during the summer block party
-Tuesday, August 17th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Wilson Library
-Tuesday, August 24th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Windsor Library

Have an art project you need materials and/or advice for? Stop into the studio classroom at the Windsor Art Center Train Station Studios during open hours to use the space and materials for your personal project, and receive guidance from local artist Michelle Hawran (if you wish!)

You MUST sign up at least a day in advance to ensure no more than 4 students will be in the classroom at one time. Each student will have their own table and sanitized materials, and masks are required. If you are feeling sick, please to do not attend.
