A fin-tastic and COVID-safe outdoor gala of activities for children pre-K to grade 6, including fishing for prizes, shad painting, shad cooking demonstration, and more! The 2021 WinWag Photo Contest is open to residents of Windsor, CT only.

Submit a photo of your dog in the puppy or adult dog category between May 5th and May 18th. Online public voting begins on May 20th and ends on June 1st. Winners will be announced by 9:00 AM on June 2nd.

All Entry photos must be current. Your photo may contain the image of the dog only. One dog per photo/entry, limit one entry per dog, but you may enter as many dogs as you like. no video submissions.

Spring is almost here and Project Graduation is now taking Flocking Orders! Every year when the snow melts, flocks of flamingos migrate to Windsor and appear on lawns throughout town! Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is celebrating a decade of providing affordable acupuncture in Connecticut. Many Rivers opened its doors in May 2011 in Windsor.

Founded by Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac., Many Rivers reached its initial goal of giving 100 treatments per week by the end of its first year in business.

A Unique Event Coming to Windsor This Summer! Create an Up-Cycled Planter Challenge, JULY 2 – 11, 2021

Local businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor an artist/garden designer, who will create an up-cycled planter that will bring monarch butterflies to our community. Your sponsor fee of $60 will provide plants, potting soil, and signage that will credit both sponsor and planter designer. All of the materials used for these planters will be up-cycled by the artist or purchased from local Windsor businesses.
