February 17, 7 PM to 8:30 PM, Hindsight is 2020: Year in Review Virtual Photo Share. They say the best view of some things is through the rearview mirror! How was your 2020? Do you have some special 2020 photos, experiences, or memories you’d like to share? Topics of interest could be the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter and social justice events, elections, and others. Share your story and photo and donate a copy that will become a part of our permanent photo collection!

Book Buddies via ZOOM!
Windsor Youth Services Bureau and the Senior Center are hosting an Intergenerational Storytime on Tuesday, February 16, 2020 (no school day) from 11:00-11:30am via Zoom. All seniors and children in grades 3-5 are encouraged to join in on this fabulously fun event! Seniors will provide a brief show & tell with their buddy to break the ice, then students will read a story of their choice, and to wrap up the call, participants will share their favorite joke or saying. Tickborne Illness Support Group
Voices Against Lyme Disease a 501(c)3, based in Windsor, CT is continuing their Support Group for those with a tickborne illness or a family member and friends. This group meets on the first and third Saturday of every month and is free to anyone wishing to join us. We use strict COVID 19 guidelines for our meetings. In addition, to support discussions we also provide up to date research information on tick borne illnesses, awareness and prevention.

From Saturday, January 23 through Saturday, March 6, the Windsor Art Center presents, in their gallery, Horizons / Transitions: Paintings and drawings by Cathy Doocy. Ms. Doocy has selected works for this exhibition that make particularly clear her unique, playful, and imaginative way of creating art. Drawing on her collage of memories, Ms. Doocy explores composition, color, and line as she paints a landscape that is no particular landscape.
