Parade Marshall Lieutenant General Hoover is a former three-star Army National Guard general, recently retired as the Deputy Commander of the U.S. Northern Command. General Hoover grew up in Windsor and will be giving a special message to our community during our virtual observance!

Windsor Food & Fuel Bank to Resume Accepting Donations of Food from Public on May 21
Beginning on Thursday, May 21, the community food bank will receive donations of food upon appointment on Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and on Thursday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at its location at L.P. Wilson Community Center at 599 Matianuck Ave. in Windsor, Conn. To schedule a time to bring nonperishable food to the food bank, as well as gift cards to local stores and gas stations, and toiletries, call 860-285-1839.

The Win Wag Dog Photo Contest is open to residents of Windsor CT only.

Submit a photo of your dog in the puppy or adult category between May 7th and May 20th. Public voting begins on May 22nd. Winners will be announced Friday, May 29th by 5:00 PM EST.

Curbside pickup is back!
Curbside pickup is back! With this service you can place holds online, or call us and we will be glad to pull materials for you. Either way, when you are notified your items are ready let us know the day and time you’ll be coming. We will be offering Curbside Pickup Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This service is available at both libraries! Call 860-285-1910 for the Main Library and 860-247-8960 for the Wilson Branch.

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Town of Windsor, and Connecticut United Ways have teamed together to help our Windsor neighbors who are suffering economic distress due to the pandemic. The Windsor Covid-19 Response Fund provides up to $200 for basic needs to families living paycheck to paycheck without access to savings.
