Windsor Jaycees Chili Challenge
The Windsor Jaycees are very excited to announce the 24th Windsor Chili Challenge! The Chili Challenge attracts thousands of visitors to the Windsor Center green each year. We would love your organization or business to cook up a pot of hot, medium or mild chili on the Windsor Town Green on Saturday, October 12 , from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. (The rain date is Sunday, October 13.)

Grace Episcopal Church Rummage Sale
Grace Episcopal Church at 311 Broad Street (on the Green) in Windsor, will be having their semi-annual Rummage and Bake Sale on Saturday October 12th from 9 am to 1 pm. Please join us in the church hall and shop for items that are famous for being in good condition at extremely reasonable prices. There is also a Boutique Room which has finer pieces including jewelry.

There will be a Bake Sale by the Women of the Parish accompanying the Rummage Sale. This bake sale is known for the delicious, home-baked products that are available, again at very reasonable prices. Coffee will be available

Windsor Art Center - Jazz
The Windsor Art Center is proud to host guitarist Morgan Giosa, and his The Fake News Blues Band in a four-concert program, The Morgan Giosa Blues Series. Beginning in September 2019 and continuing each month through December, he and his band will perform at the Windsor Art Center. They will be joined at each concert by one of four renowned blues musicians, Frank Varela, Geoff Willard, Gene Donaldson, and Tommy Whelan.

Concerts will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays, September 8 (Frank Varela), October 13 (Geoff Willard), November 10 (Gene Donaldson), and December 8 (Tommy Whelan).

Wreaths Across America Fundraiser
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Join us for the American Legion's Wreaths Across America fundraiser at Geissler's in Windsor and sponsor a veterans’ wreath. Donations will be accepted throughout the day.

Kimberly Hall offers an Alzheimer's Support group for family members who are a caregiver or have a loved one with a form of dementia. The support group consists of both families caring for someone at home or who have someone in a community. Please feel free to join us to learn more about the disease and how to cope with changes that occur as the disease progresses.
