The Windsor Woman’s Club is holding its annual Mum Sale on the Town Green on Saturday, Sept. 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Beautiful late-blooming mums in 9” pots in your choice of 5 colors just 3 for $18.00 or 1 for $7.00. All are grown on a local farm.

Windsor Fife & Drum Parade & Muster
Saturday, September 7 - 11:00AM Several fife & drum corps from Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey will come together for this unique event. A parade through the center of Windsor at 11:00am ends at the steps of the town hall (275 Broad Street). There, each fife & drum corps will take turns performing the patriotic songs of the revolutionary war era. 

This is a family-friendly event, and free to the public. Bring a lawn chair and come enjoy an afternoon of music!

September Swap Meet
Our next swap meet is coming up on Saturday September 7th. Vintage radios, turntables, Victrolas, TVs, tubes, advertising and manuals are a few things that you may find at this meet. Collectors from all over the Northeast will descend on the museum to display and share their wares. The museum will have many surplus items out for sale as well. This is a morning event so get there early and check everything out and tour the museum while you are there. The museum will be open for free all day. There is a small fee to set up and display items. The event is free to the public. vrcmct.org

Windsor Art Center Concerts
The Windsor Art Center is proud to host guitarist Morgan Giosa, and his The Fake News Blues Band in a four-concert program, The Morgan Giosa Blues Series. Beginning in September 2019 and continuing each month through December, he and his band will perform at the Windsor Art Center. They will be joined at each concert by one of four renowned blues musicians, Frank Varela, Geoff Willard, Gene Donaldson, and Tommy Whelan.
Concerts will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays, September 8 (Frank Varela), October 13 (Geoff Willard), November 10 (Gene Donaldson), and December 8 (Tommy Whelan).

Please join us on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 starting at 6:30 pm to learn what our club is all about. Meet the members, enjoy refreshments and a free art demonstration by a local artist.
The Windsor Palette and Brush Club is bringing together artists of all mediums and art enthusiasts to explore and embrace creativity.
Event schedule: 6:30 pm reception with refreshments, 7:00 a short business meeting followed at 7:15-8:30 by an oil paints demonstration by Kate Tortland. Kate creates small vignettes of life on the Vineyard, in oils and puts a new spin on traditional scenery.
