Construction Update: Town of Windsor

March 19 – April 9, 2018
Due to recent inclement weather, below is a revised schedule for the following railroad crossings in Windsor. The crossings will be closed to through traffic to accommodate construction activity, including new drainage, curbing, sidewalks and signage, as well as roadway paving:

East Barber Road Railroad Crossing: The work will now begin on Monday, March 19th at 6:00 p.m. and continue through Tuesday, March 20th until 6:00 p.m.

Business After Hours

The March Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours will be on Wednesday, March 14th hosted by the Windsor Art Center at 40 Mechanic Street in Windsor from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Enjoy refreshments, a raffle and networking with Chamber members from the six Tobacco Valley Chamber Alliance Chambers: Windsor, Bloomfield, Bradley Regional, East Windsor, Granby, and Suffield. Windsor Chamber Cares Auction

The 38th Windsor Chamber Cares Auction, presented by Windsor Federal, returns on Friday, June 10, 2022 to a fun-filled in-person event where we’ll be bringing back fun with a celebration of the 1980s – so bring your mullets, teased perms, turquoise and pink attire, and spandex leggings.

Tourist Info Center

The Tourist Information Center is part of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce building and is powered by the Tourism Committee, a group of volunteers from the community who work together to provide and promote Windsor's finest entertainment, dining, shopping, and more.

The Info Center is packed full of brochures, coupons, maps and other information about Windsor attractions and the surrounding areas.

Find Windsor specific and other interesting gifts to remind you of your trip to Windsor like cotton throws, local honey, local maple syrup, ornaments, mugs, tee shirts, and more.
