Sustainable BusinessWindsor Business Breakfast at Vito’s by the WaterGuest Speaker: Daniel Esty, Commissioner Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection A 2010 CBIA survey found that while a majority of Connecticut businesses have adopted sustainable business practices, most have done so quite recently and many are uncertain about the real value of going green. A major obstacle for many companies was a lack of a clear business case for sustainability. On June 17, we hope to take a step toward addressing this green knowledge gap. We are bringing the managers of Windsor businesses together to learn more about sustainable business practices from some of their peers. We will also provide an opportunity to hear from Daniel Esty, the new Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection, about his vision for sustainability in Connecticut.
