Each summer, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce holds a Golf Tournament as a fundraiser for its education and community programs. This year, to show support for the business community, the Chamber has lowered tournament prices while maintaining a superb event. Prices for individuals are $95 and foursomes are $380. The Chamber is also is providing breakfast, lunch and an early dinner included in your entrance fee. This helps businesses and organization continue to support this cause, a little more affordably. The tourney is a four person mixed scramble on July 19, 2010 at Tradition at Windsor Golf Course with registration and breakfast starting at 9:00 am. Tee off is at 10:00 am. Business people find the tournament a great way to make new business contacts as the golfers tend to be not only from Windsor, but really the whole region. Each year the end of there is great excitement when the prizes are handed out for various golfing achievements. Then hopeful participants, some of whom have come just for dinner and the raffle, throw their tickets in for the items they'd like to win including a Flat Screen TV! Most of the Chamber's Directors are in attendance, playing golf, enjoying the company, and discussing business with the other golfers who include business people, members of local civic organizations, and often local residents.
