Many of their patients go home after a few weeks and, for those who are unable to return home right away, they provide safe, compassionate care in an environment that fosters independence and dignity. Kindred is well established in the Windsor community and has partnerships and affiliations with their local hospitals, Chamber of Commerce, the L.P. Wilson Senior Center and John Fitch Court. They believe community involvement is important, and enjoy participating in a variety of events around town, including the Windsor Feud , the Chamber’s Chili Challenge, Business After Hours and the Senior Center’s Early Bird Suppers. They are improving our clinical capabilities and staffing in order to accept patients with greater medical complexity than a traditional nursing home.
