* Holyoke-Chicopee-Springfield Head Start is a multi-service agency, providing comprehensive programs, services and support to local communities including no cost child development programs to eligible families. * Connecticut Cat Connection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a ‘No-Kill’ policy (with medical exceptions). Their efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded. All animals are given medical attention and vaccinated before placement and spayed and neutered if at least six months of age. They are a small shelter comprised of 100% volunteers dedicated to helping homeless cats find their forever families. |
