Society staff members have been helping family history researchers – beginners and experts for many years. Most genealogy researchers are helpful individuals who love to share strategies and success stories. You just might find a solution to your brick wall through a fellow family history searcher in these FREE discussion and problem-solving sessions at the Society. Feel free to bring your laptop. The Society has a World Explorer membership to Ancestry.com, which means worldwide records are available to all support group participants. We also have memberships to the American Ancestors (NEHGS) and Fold3, and access to the Hartford Courant archives and the Descendants of the Founders of Ancient Windsor (DFAW) database. Come see what it’s all about. Registration and face masks will be required, and we will be gathering in the 1st floor meeting room to enable appropriate social distancing.
