S.T.E.A.M Works! uses Legos to provide opportunities for children ages 7 to 9 to explore problem solving activities using a hands-on approach to their learning and higher order thinking. Students in the program will be working with standard Lego materials to solve pre-engineering challenges involving structure, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. Class takes place at the L.P. Wilson Community Center from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM each Tuesday through May 15. $140.00. 860-285-1990.
