There’s no better classroom than the outdoors to connect children to nature! During Northwest Park’s Homeschool Series we will strive to promote respect for nature and each other through a nurturing, student-centered environment. Each hour-long session will consist of indoor and/or outdoor hands-on learning and close observations in our 473-acre park. Hikes, live animal encounters and exploration will enhance our discoveries! Classes are held on the third Wednesday of each month and you can choose from morning (10:30 AM to 11:30 AM) or afternoon (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM) sessions. New topic each month.
