Come out to Northwest Park’s Adult Education Series from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The first session this spring explores non-alcoholic fermentation with a focus on fermented tea in Kombucha 101. Learn about symbiotic colonies of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY) as we cover fermentation, acids, and alcohols. We will sample several Kombuchas. Participants will receive a SCOBY to take home, so bring a clean glass jar for transport. $10.00 (Windsor resident) $15.00 (non-resident) or $35.00 (Windsor resident) $50.00 (non-resident) for the series.
