Homeschool students ages 5 to 12 can learn about the through hands-on activities at Northwest Park. Discover the process it takes to turn tree sap into delicious maple syrup. This program includes tree identification, a tree tapping demonstration, sap collection, and sap tasting. Experience the sights, smells, and sounds of Northwest Park's Sugarhouse during its seasonal operation. Choose the morning session (10:30 AM to 11:30 AM) or the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM). $8.00 per student. Registration needed by calling 860-285-1886. | ||||
