Spend the afternoon with us listening to some great music from 1:00 to 2:30 PM in the Senior Center café with the “Great American Songbook with Russ Salk.” Russ will play musical recordings and give a short lecture on their place in our musical culture. You’ll hear from rare but outstanding performances of standards known as the Great American Songbook. Russ will also introduce you to a whole world of composers and lyricists beyond that, with some Big Band and breezy jazz thrown into the mix. Free. Sign up in the office or call 860-285-1992.
