Students from the UConn School of Pharmacy, National Pharmaceutical Association, will present information about self-care basics for patients with diabetes. Many topics will be covered, including over the counter medications for common indications such as pain, cough and cold; medication interactions and diabetes; dealing with hypertension (and/or other common conditions); Hep B and flu shots, med safety, and when prescriptions expire.
