Come to Northwest Park from 1 to 2 PM to learn about Butterflies & Their Gardens as we welcome these migrating pollinators back to Windsor. Connecticut-based author, illustrator, & naturalist John Himmelman will discuss butterfly families and species, life cycles, finding butterflies, and creating butterfly habitats. Himmelman has written and illustrated many books for adults and children on a wide variety of natural history subjects. Books may be available for purchase and signing on the day of the visit.
