Historical Society Seeks Auction Donations
| Donations Sought for November 19, 2010 Auction - Our Auction Committee is looking for up to 50 silent-auction items and 50 live-auction items. People eagerly bid on items such as: time at vacation homes or resorts; catered private dinners; themed gift baskets; high-quality antiques, art, craft work, or jewelry with a minimum auction value of $100; electronic items such as the Nintendo Wii; and children's high-quality gifts. We are also grateful for a cash gift to be used toward the purchase of auction items. The auction is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, from 6 pm - 9 pm at Birch Meadow Banquet Facility, 76 Dudley Town Road, Bloomfield, CT. Delicious wine, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts will be served. Tickets are $25 and available at the Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Avenue (Rt. 159), Windsor, CT. |
