Does this Animal Need My Help?
Join the staff of Northwest Park on March 11th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a “Does this Animal Need My Help?” presentation. Wildlife rehabilitation is the treatment and care of injured, orphaned, or sick animals so they can be released back into the wild. In CT, there is a group of specially trained volunteers who are licensed to care for these animals. What does it take to care for wildlife? What do you need to know if you find an animal in need of help? Who do you contact? Join us for a discussion on native CT wildlife and the resources available to help them. Ages 12 and above. F

New After-School Art Program specifically designed for children ages 7 & up with hands-on, interactive art making will be starting March 6th. Each student will be guided through a variety of art projects by the talented Michelle Hawran, B.F.A. at the Windsor Art Studios (Train Station)

Our Program Speaker, Tom Hazel, will have open discussions regarding his current role. Come and learn how he administers and enforces the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission regulations and as liaison in reviewing plans for environmental impacts as well as admisters environmental education and conservation programs. Windsor Art Center presents Multiples: Printmaking
The Windsor Art Center is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition entitled MULTIPLES: Printmaking featuring Gus Mazzocca with works by Michael Siporin Levine and Matthew Clay-Robison, which will run March 11 through April 22, 2017. This exhibition includes works from the career of UConn Professor Emeritus Gus Mazzocca, an internationally-exhibited printmaker-artist, as well as two of his former UConn printmaking students and current working artists, Michael Siporin Levine and York Gallery Director and artist, Matthew Clay-Robison.

The Windsor Art Center Studios, at 35 central Street, Windsor will offer 8 different art classes and a Saturday workshopbeginning in April. One of the 8 classes will offer teens an opportunity to try their hand at cartooning after school. Classes fill quickly so register early at windsorartcenter.org. Drum therapy is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Join us for an early breakfast served at 8:30am. The program will begin at 9:00am and end at 10:15am.
