The Windsor Chamber of Commerce and First Town Downtown invite you to a concert on the green from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM featuring Windsor's very own Nekita Waller Music , Connecticut's state troubadour! Stop by your favorite Windsor restaurant for a bite to eat or pack a picnic on the Green! Don't forget to visit the FTDT Farmers Market before the concert begins!

Registration for the Town of Windsor Citizen’s Academy is now open for the fall session. Here’s your chance to learn more about the operation of Town of Windsor departments in an informal, fun way. The seven-week interactive Citizen’s Academy begins on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Town Hall Council Chambers from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and will then continue to meet on Thursday evenings through November 1st at various town facilities including the Police Station, Public Works garage, Fire House,and others. We will take questions on devices and gadgets of all sizes and functions. No appointment necessary, the Geeks will be available on the Mezzanine from 7PM to 8:30PM weekly, and their advice is free. 860-285-1918.

We're looking for people who love to travel to come with us on a group tour of the most exciting sites in China including the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, the Bund and more! The trip will take place April 1 - 9, 2019 for only $2,199 including airfare, all meals, 4 & 5 star hotel accommodations, tour guides, etc. You'll hear all about it at the meeting!

Farmers’ Market
The First Town Downtown 2018 Farmers’ Market will begin its 10th season on Thursday, June 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. The Farmers' Market will run every Thursday through October 18th. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Tour Windsor Rocks!
The partnership that brought you TourWindsorCT.org is at it again! Have fun with Tour Windsor Rocks starting Thursday, July 12 through August 23 with a kickoff painting party on July 12th at 6:00 pm at the Windsor Historical Society and paint your own Tour Windsor Rocks rock.

Take a photo of you and your rock, then find a spot on the tour to leave the rock for someone else to find. Then visit TourWindsorCT locations to find a rock to take a picture with. Post photos of the fun, painted rocks to social media with the hashtag #tourwindsorrocks and tag us @tourwindsorct.

Yoga on the Green

Yoga on the Green
Stretch and strengthen in this all-level yoga class, no experience required. Bring your mat if you have one and/or a towel and meet on the Windsor Town Green at 5:30 pm for an hour-long free community yoga class on August 2nd (cancelled due to rain) and August 23rd.

You'll be using your breath to connect to movement and yoga to connect your body and mind. Release any stress or tension that may have accumulated throughout the day and flow into your evening feeling refreshed and energized.

Presented by Dr. Roberta Garceau, Certified Yoga Instructor.
