Carol Sing and Torchlight Parade
On December 14, join First Town Downtown for an evening of holiday festivities! At 6:00 PM join us for an Old Fashioned Carol Sing on the Town Hall Portico. At 6:30 PM join in the fun at the Torchlight Parade as fire trucks parade in their holiday decorations. The parade will begin on Remington Road and will proceed through downtown Windsor. Free. Wreath Across America
To coincide with the worldwide ceremony Wreath Across America (www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org) will again be holding a ceremony at Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery on December 14th at 12:00 noon.

Following the success of last year's ceremony, our goal is to honor the men and women who have given of themselves, their time and in many cases, the ultimate sacrifice serving our Great Nation.

Last year's wreath laying ceremonies in over 1,660 local, state and national cemeteries honored the veterans of the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and POW/ MIA's. In 2018,

On Saturday, December 14th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., hearth cooker Becky Hendricks will lead a special class on cooking pies for six guests inside the Society's award-winning hands-on Strong-Howard House. Guests will choose from a variety of historical recipes, including tasty apple, cranberry, pear, pompion (pumpkin), pork, and onion pies, and bread and Marlboro puddings. You’ll need to bring an apron, a 9” pie plate or springform pan, a vegetable peeler or paring knife, measuring cups and spoons, a beverage mug and lunch or snack, plus a container to transport your hot pie or pudding back hom
