Windsor Chamber News
Chamber eNews for March 31, 2020 We're now in our fourth week of social distancing, and as many of us begin to get used to this new normal, we realize that although we need to keep our distance physically, we need connections--our friends, our families, our community, each other--more than ever. The Chamber has sought to keep creating connections even in this difficult time.
We're connecting businesspeople with each other on our Monday afternoon Virtual Roundtable. The Roundtable has been a chance to get the latest information on executive orders, new programs, opportunities for financial relief, and what the Chamber and Town are doing to help, but more importantly, it's an opportunity to share how you're grappling with the Covid-19 crisis, get ideas from your peers, and support each other.
We're connecting our members with important information and analysis on best practices, regulations, and economic relief programs via our Covid-19 update emails. We're also available to provide one-to-one assistance on navigating everything out there; just reply to this email or call us at 860-688-5165 if you need help.
We're connecting the community with our member retailers and restaurants, who are particularly hard-hit by this crisis, through our Retail and Restaurant Guide online.
Finally, and for the moment most importantly, we're connecting the Chamber and the entire Windsor community with opportunities to support our efforts, local nonprofits, and Covid-19 relief charities by participating in the Chamber Cares Online Auction. Please spread the word on this upcoming communitywide event, which runs April 3-10, and sign up to bid at windsor2020.givesmart.com. And if you haven't contributed an item to auction off, it's not too late!
