Backpacks for Windsor Kids Needed!!

The Windsor Public Schools Office of Family and Community Partnership (OFCP) is receiving inquiries from families seeking assistance as they begin their back to school preparations. Outfitting children for the new school year often places financial burdens on families that want their children to have a fresh start and go off on the first day of school with a smile.

Please consider conducting a backpack or school supply drive within your business or organization. Popular supply items include pens and pencils, crayons and markers, binders and paper, scissors and glue sticks. Backpacks for children in preschool through high school are welcomed as well.

The OFCP will be happy to receive or pick up donations at your convenience. Please call 860-687-2000 Ext 1272 or 1284 for more information or to discuss ways in which you can support our children in the coming school year. The office is located at the Board of Education, 601 Matianuck Ave. and is open from 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday.
