Businesses Can Participate With A Hands On Activity
| Dear Windsor Businesses : I would like to offer you an opportunity to add some excitement to your day and at the same time help beautify our school. The preschool and kindergarten students at Roger Wolcott School have been creating a garden to help provide some hand-on activities while offering several "teachable moments" regarding the world around them. The garden will now include several birdhouses made by a talented resident of Windsor and donated to the students to "adopt" and enjoy. We thought it would be a great addition to the school if they were painted by several local businesses, civic groups or a Windsor resident. This is where you come in.would you like to add to our collection by painting a birdhouse? They can be painted in any way that you desire. We will proudly display your birdhouse in our garden with a sign for all to see the name of the "artist". The painting process does not have to be a tedious one. It can be painted easily with acrylic or latex paints in any way you wish.detailed or not. We would love to show off your choice of embellishment and proudly display our collection. Please let me know if you would like to paint one of our birdhouses. I will be happy to deliver one to you as soon as you are ready to get started. Feel free to call me within the next week and let me know if you would be interested in assisting. I would like to hear from you by October 5, 2007 so I can plan accordingly.
