| The Alliance, as you know, is involved in a number of initiatives related to the Downtown as part of its work with the City. You may have heard that the Connecticut Development Authority (CDA) has commissioned a study to evaluate both (i) the future viability of the existing Hartford Civic Center (HCC) and (ii) the potential demand for a new arena that could host, among other activities, an NHL franchise. To that end, the CDA has hired CSL International to participate in the evaluation. CSL has asked the Alliance to assist in its efforts to measure the strength of the requisite support from the corporate community that will be critical to the ongoing success of either the HCC or a new arena. Accordingly, we have included a link to CSL's online survey and ask that you take 10 minutes to provide your views on the HCC and any new arena, including the specific amenities and characteristics that would be required in either facility to make it a valued venue. Please note that you may only access the survey via the attached link once in order to ensure confidentiality and valid responses. Your responses to CSL will provide the CDA with valuable information that will be used to ensure that we have an attractive and consumer oriented facility that satisfies the Region's indoor sports and entertainment needs for years to come.
