Authors to Visit Windsor!
Now is time to reserve your seats to meet the authors of "Making Freedom, the Extraordinary Life of Venture Smith" by Chandler B. Saint and George A. Krimsky.

One Book, One Windsor's community book read "Making Freedom, The Extraordinary Life of Venture Smith" is presenting it culmination for the summer of 2010. This year's selection will pay homage to Venture who has shown another face of slavery. Venture Smith was permitted to earn wages by his third owner which allowed him to purchase his freedom, his families, secure 300 acre farm in East Haddam, Connecticut and acquire wealth.

Authors Chandler B. Saint and George A. Krimsky will appear to discussion their book and sign autographs on,
