Windsor Feud A Great Event!

Saturday was a fun night in Windsor as the Windsor Chamber of Commerce annual fundraiser "Windsor Feud" took place on live TV. Teams of four from local businesses and organizations squared off to answer "survey says" questions in silly costumes. Over $5,500 was raised for the Chamber’s business and community program.s

"The evening is always so much fun," says Executive Director Jane Garibay. "The Chamber is a non-profit organization run with many volunteers, so it's great to have so much support from the businesses and civic groups in town." The Windsor Chamber of Commerce provides services to businesses and the community to help maintain and improve the quality of life in Windsor.

Ten teams played, each raising funds for the Chamber of Commerce. Any money over a certain dollar amount could be kept, in the case of non-profit teams or donated to any local charity.

This year's winners were: Carmon Family Funeral Homes brought in most donations and received the most points for correct answers. They were playing for Mary’s Place. Union Street Tavern won the championship round and played for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Kindred Care won for best costume and played for Windsor Independent Living Association.

The public was able to be in the studio audience, watch on Win-TV channel 5 in Windsor, or watch on the internet live at Win-TV.org.

Thank you to our Feud sponsors: Windsor Federal, HostingCT, Carmon Family Funeral Homes and Dr. Steven Farley, to all the players and to all our volunteers especially Gary Dogewicz who puts the whole set and game together, the Diamond Club for helping with setup and Win-TV for live streaming the show.

You’ll be able to see the show rebroadcast on WinTV (channel 5) for a few weeks and photos are available on the Chamber website at www.WindsorCC.org under Events > Photos.
