Congratulations to Jane Garibay, Windsor Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. Jane was chosen as the 2014 Chamber Executive of the Year by her peers at NEACCE (New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives) an their annual conference in Massachusetts. NEACCE is a New England wide organization whose mission is to provide programs which enhance the personal growth and development of its members and their effectiveness as managers; to furnish a vehicle for the interchange of ideas, principles, practices and ethics among executives serving in New England. Jane was selected because she is an exemplary Executive Director, professionally managing the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, getting involved in many professional groups and Chambers including Metro Hartford, ACCE and NEACCE, encouraging business partnerships, effecting good works in her community with additional non-profit causes in her town, promoting collaboration, getting an amazing amount of work done with minimal staff and volunteers, and supporting economic development. “Jane is great at any project she decides to work on. I've been on several boards with her, and she always has very powerful insights into working with people, moral dilemmas, working with volunteers, etc. There aren't many people that are as good at making things happen as her...truly one in a million,” said John Waiveris, Invisible Gold LLC. The Windsor Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that supports Windsor's economy through programs, seminars, support and referrals to local businesses. It is an important resource to the Windsor community.
