Networking and the TVCA
On the third Wednesday of each month, the Windsor Chamber of Commerce offers a Business After Hours networking event where business people build relationships and learn more about one another. The March 16th BAH will be an especially effective event as it is an official Tobacco Valley Chamber Alliance (TVCA) event offered by Windsor Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Tunxis Grill 3 Tunxis Street, Windsor from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The TVCA is a strategic alliance of the Windsor, East Granby, Granby, Windsor Locks, Suffield, East Windsor and Bloomfield Chambers of Commerce. There are seven TVCA networking events per year. Attendance is usually between 75 and 150 people. As one local Chamber member said, "I made more contacts in one hour at this event than I have in the last year!" per the TVCA website. Business representatives from all seven Chambers are invited to participate free of charge. Active networkers will reap the benefits. It's also an ideal time to learn what our local Chambers of Commerce do for businesses and how they support various community activities. Do not miss the March 16th BAH.
