An Easy Way to Support Local Business
| The idea of supporting local business is popular. People talk about it all the time but it's not always top of mind when going out to buy products and services. The 3/50 Project has made it easy for us to put our money where our mouths are by giving us an easy local business strategy. The 3/50 Project suggests that you choose 3 local independent stores that you'd miss if they were gone and spend $50 between them each month. To choose your three local businesses, go to the Chamber website (www.WindsorCC.org) and browse the membership directory or members by category (shops, restaurants, etc). Get a good look at the local businesses who support the community by being members of the Chamber of Commerce. Choose three businesses you'd miss if they closed and spend $16 or so there once a month. Easy! To make it even easier, choose one day a month to support locals, maybe the 1st of each month or the 3rd day of each month (for 3/50). And I want to hear from you!
