Annual Dinner and Awards Night

Chamber Awards Night

Each year the Windsor Chamber of Commerce holds its Annual Dinner and Meeting in June during which the new Board is sworn in and several awards are given to businesses and individuals in recognition of their devotion to community service. The Annual Dinner Committee makes sure it is a fun-filled, spirited event. This year's theme is "A Cruise to the Maldives" with the cocktail hour on the Lido deck sponsored by Windsor Federal Savings. Once the doors open to the ballroom the crowd will be transported to an elegant dining area overlooking the beautiful blue waters of the Maldives.

This year's honorees are Anita Mips for Citizen of the Year and Ray Embury for the Hallas Award for his service to the Chamber. The Parker Award for property beautification is being given this year to six hotel members for their beautiful renovations.

Director of the Year is Frank Carmon for contributing work, wisdom and wealth to the board. The Student Entrepreneur of the Year award is going to Ashley Walsh. The Business of the Year is Geissler's Supermarket for their support of the Chamber mission, events and programs.

The new board, whose goal is to guide the Chamber in its mission and support Chamber members, will be sworn in.
