Keeping Windsor farms alive and thriving takes your support. That means buying locally grown produce. Many residents say they love Windsor for its landscape dotted by local farms! Farms cannot not survive solely on admiration, they need your dollar affirmation.

NO FARMS, NO FOOD! KEEP WINDSOR FARM FRIENDLY.

There's Brown's Farm on Poquonock Ave, Bednarz Farm Stand on Bloomfield Ave, River Street Farm on River Street, and for honey lovers-Forgotten Acres Farm on Palisado Ave. Also part of Windsor's farm landscape is the Thrall Farm, Birchwood Farms for evergreen trees, and River Meadows Farms for boarding horses. From now through the Fall, you can enjoy the many benefits of locally grown. In addition, farms contribute to Windsor's economy, enhance the pastoral beauty of our environment, and offer the best of seasonal fresh foods! Your local farmers are your neighbors, be a good neighbor with your support and pay a visit.

And remember to support Windsor's Farmers Market on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm on the corner of Maple and Broad hosted by First Town Downtown.
