On April 15th, 2014, the public will get their first glimpse of the amazing “Raining Cats and Dogs” public art exhibition of painted dogs; a fundraiser for the Windsor Education Foundation and Windsor Chamber of Commerce. The Raining Cats and Dogs Animal Scavenger Hunt starts on April 15th and runs though May 20th. Find all the amazing painted fiberglass cats and dogs around Windsor (and one in Windsor Locks) and you could win a cash prize. The cats and dogs are on exhibit at sponsor locations then will go up for auction on May 23rd. "I was surprised to see the variety of unique designs. The amount of pure talent we have in our community is really amazing," said Jane Garibay, co-chair of the Raining Cats and Dogs event. Pick up your official Animal Scavenger Hunt form at the Windsor Public Library, Town Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, at sponsor locations or download it from the WEF or WCC website. The Raining Cats and Dogs animals will be up for auction at historic Grace Church on the Windsor town green on May 23rd.
