Teacher Hero Campaign
Windsor Education Foundation Honors Windsor Public School Teachers

Windsor Education Foundation is proud to celebrate our extraordinary and devoted Windsor Public
School Teachers. As we mark a year of unprecedented chaos due to a global pandemic, we need to
acknowledge, and highlight, the heroic efforts that our teachers have undertaken. Exceptional efforts have been made to continue instruction in variety of modes, to elevate student’s critical thinking skills in creative ways, while supporting their academic and social-emotional needs. In a year with so much uncertainty, the one constant factor has been the resolute dedication of our Windsor Teachers.

WEF supports our Windsor Teachers by awarding annual grants for innovative, teacher created projects and programs. Since 2007, WEF has donated $175,800 in grants. Due to the pandemic we were not able to run a grant cycle for the 2020-21 school year. In lieu of grants, WEF held a School Supply Drive, in partnership with community members, and gifted Windsor Public Schools $6,650 for student supplies in September 2020. As we look to brighter days, WEF is looking to raise funds for next school year through our Teacher Hero campaign. Honor your Windsor Teachers with a donation towards future grants awards. All donations convert to grants dollars for the upcoming school year.
Windsor Education Foundation recognizes all Windsor Public School teachers and staff for making a difference in the lives of Windsor’s students. Help recognize our wonderful educators by making a donation in their honor. All donations go towards innovative teachers grants awarded during our annual grant cycle.

Make a donation to honor a teacher who makes a difference in our community. Donations can be sent to WEF, P.O. Box 86, Windsor, CT 06095 or made online at www.windsoreducationfoundation.org
Say THANK YOU to our Windsor Teachers!
