Emergency Medical Technician Course

Emergency Medical Technician Course
This 5 week course prepares students to respond to all types of medical emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course students will have a solid foundation and understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and medical technology. Our comprehensive program combines interactive lectures, hands-on practical training, and observation time at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center’s Emergency Department, along with ride time onboard our ambulances with our highly skilled EMT’s and paramedics.

This course is designed to meet both the State of CT Dept. of Public Health and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians national standards curriculum.
