The Windsor Chamber of Commerce would like to thank its volunteer Chili Challenge chairperson, Lori Hartmann, for a job well done! More than 6,000 people attended the event this year and enjoyed 30 different kinds of chili from expert and amateur cooks from local businesses on the Windsor Town Green.
Prizes were awarded for Best Chili: First Place: Windsor Republicans, Second Place: Walgreens Distribution, and Third Place: Izote. Best Booth: First Place: Windsor Jaycees, Second Place: D'Aleo Designs, and Third Place: Buffalo Soldiers. Honorable Mention: Mad Scientists. People's Choice: First Place: Mad Scientists, Second Place: Buffalo Soldiers, and Third Place: Villari's Martial Arts. Honorable Mentions: Union Street Tavern and Windsor High School Culinary Class.
