Tourism Committee Meeting

January 14, 2014

 

Present: Jane Garibay, Paula Pierce, Ashley Williams, Kim Francis, Christine Ermenc, Christina Vida, Barbara, and Phyllis Stargardter

 

Meeting Notes:

1.     Walking Tour

·      Paula & John Waiveris are willing to set up a mobile web site (mobile app) for a stipend of $4,000 to be divided by Windsor Historical Society, WCC and FTDT unless we get outside funding. (Sponsorship/grant)

·      QR Code: possible upkeep issues, permission to mount on monuments?

·      Publicity: Rack Cards w/ maps & QR codes/ Sponsorship-Realtors?/ Attractions-Donation fee to be included?

·      Walking loop: W.Historical Society to Library/ townwide

 

To Do List

·      Paula will research GPS maps

·      WHS: Gather site info. Draft M.O.U. between WHS, WCC & FTDT.

·      WCC: Funding plan/sponsorship letter

·      Kim Francis; Check Hotel interest in sponsorship.
